Meeting

Today we had a short meeting with a tutor where we spoke about our idea  and where we are at with it.

Contributors

For our contributor Tanya she emphasised the importance of keeping a good working relationship with her throughout the filming both on and off screen and before and after filming.

Locations

She suggested that although the theatre was a good idea, the fact that it would be subtle hint to the acceptance of men in drag isn't really enough for a documentary. It would possibly be better to go to a club, which is more visually appealing and cheaper then a theatre. 

She also suggested using a Drag event that was already existing so we get an established audience and vibe instead of an artificially created one.


However she liked our actual idea and story, she said the jeopardy and tension we had was good.


Overall from this meeting I'll be looking into clubs with a good atmosphere and that are aesthetically pleasing. I'll also be looking into ways that I can get sponsorship to help our budget further.
