'Mighty Boosh' review
The 'Mighty Boosh' is a cult comedy focusing on the lives of 'Vince Noir' (Noel Fielding) and 'Howard Moon' (Julian Barret), it aired on BBC 3 from 2004 to 2007 with 3 seasons. The pair go on magical adventures with their friends 'Bollo' (the gorilla) and 'Naboo' (the shaman).

Actors
Within the 'Mighty Boosh' reoccurring actors make up the characters, in the first season in particular this helps to keep the budget of the series down.
Core actors such as Noel Fielding and Julian Barret (also the writers) bring in their family and friends to play extended characters for example the character of 'Naboo' played by Michael Fielding, once again keeping the budget down.

Editing
Editing in the 'Mighty Boosh' is again very simple, camera transitions are basic jump cuts with the majority being mid shots or long shots.
Every now and then though the episodes will include a cartoon of Noel Fielding's art work to help with the pace of the story.
How the directing influenced my piece
The directing in the scene where Howard meets Old Gregg inspired me as my characters are very similar personalities to the 'Mighty Boosh' characters. Alice is shy and reserved much like Howard and the Hatter is eccentric and lively like Old Gregg.
The slight tilt of the camera towards Gregg connotes the power he has in the meeting, this is something I'd like to try and copy in my own work.
