Documentaries: Visual/written references

Visual and Written references

A video informing people about different sexualities.
This helped me learn about the different people we'd be interviewing and helped be getting a better grasp of the over all subject.

Video about gender from the BBC LINK
This helped me educate me about how someone who doesn't conform to the gender binary feels. This was further applicable with the extended research I have done as our presenter ((Zak)) is gender fluid.

Pink News quote:
"The Conservatives have blocked plans for compulsory LGBT-inclusive sex and relationship education"

Closed Parliament Petition:
"Introduce LGBT Sex Education as a compulsory part of the school curriculum. Schools have no obligation to offer sex education to individuals who do not identify as heterosexual."

Overall these initial references inspired where we wanted our documentary to go and what we wanted it to focus on. They gave us a basis for research which allowed us to have extensive amounts of facts and figures that we could use in our production.
